Take our clinically approved health MOT when you join and get a comprehensive understanding of your current health.
The 60 minute health MOT is an in-depth assessment of your overall health, based on a series of checks and tests that we carry-out to determine, what we refer to as, your ‘health score’.
All members are offered the chance to have a health MOT when they join us free of charge.
What we measure in our health MOT
- Body mass index (BMI)
- Resting heart rate
- Aerobic fitness
- Blood pressure
- Sugar levels.
During your health MOT you will also have the opportunity to discuss your hydration, alcohol intake, sleep quality and any existing injuries, with our expert wellbeing advisor.
Your health score
Following your health MOT, you will be given a health score between 6 and 100, and we can use this to track your progress against a bespoke set of fitness and lifestyle goals. If you would like another health MOT in three months or further down the line, just let us know and we’ll arrange one for you.
A personalised action plan
Regular check-ins will chart your progress and improvements over time, helping you to improve your overall health. Only Nuffield Health can combine health and fitness, medical, physiotherapy and nutrition expertise to help you get fitter and healthier.

During this 60-minute session one of our Fitness and Lifestyle Advisors will work with you to build a programme of exercises and activities to help you achieve your specific individual goals (e.g. weight loss, muscle gain, sports specific, rehabilitation).
This session is invaluable for all fitness levels, whether you are a novice looking to shape-up or an athlete training to compete in your next race. These programmes are designed specifically around the needs of each individual. On completion of this appointment, you will be provided with a personalised gym programme card to keep a track of each workout.
Your Fitness and Lifestyle Advisor will contact you on a monthly basis to discuss any areas with which you would like assistance, to discuss your progress, arrange re-programme sessions and help you continue to reach your goals.
